Glenn Harrold has been a musician and songwriter since he joined the Sugar Ray Five as a bass player in his late teens. (see biography)

Glenn and his singer wife Alyson began writing songs together soon after they met in the early 1990’s. From the mid 1990’s they had a seven year stint in as a duo called “Wishful Thinking” Glenn & Aly in thier "Wishful Thinkin'" days

playing cover songs in clubs, pubs, hotels and restaurants. The demands of playing cover songs 3 to 4 nights a week for 4 hours at a time had a negative effect on their creative song writing and this was not a very prolific period. However towards the end of the 90’s they decided to move away from the covers circuit and so the writing began to flourish again.

In the late 90’s Glenn and Aly wrote songs as a duo called Diviniti and after a break of 3 years, started writing songs again in 2003. The forced break came about as they had great success elsewhere with Glenn’s hypnosis tape & CD series which has sold .35 million copies worldwide, and became established as the UK’s best selling self help audio tapes and CDs. As a result of this they are both directors in Diviniti Publishing Ltd, a thriving business responsible for the marketing and production of Glenn’s hypnotherapy recordings.

They have a recording studio at their home in Kent where they write, arrange and record their own songs. Glenn & Aly on stage

They previously had a number of successes in various international song competitions. Most notably coming 3rd in the 1996 Amnesty International song contest with Glenn’s song “Freedom Hope & Liberty” which went on to be released world-wide on an Amnesty International compilation CD. They also came 2nd in the Cork International song contest in 1997 with “Teach our Children Well”. Both songs are on the Diviniti Demos Volume 1 album.

They are currently working on recording new material although these projects have to fit around the demands of running Diviniti Publishing worldwide.
