Create your Law of Attraction goals

One of the key elements of the Law of Attraction is the setting of goals, and getting it right plays a huge part in your success. You decide upon a goal. You infuse your goal with positive feelings, imagine it as a reality and regularly project that goal out from within you. As a result, you will soon begin to attract opportunities that will enable your goal to actually happen. Using this technique, you can make your deepest desires a reality.

Choose your goals
We all have various areas of our lives that could be improved, from family and relationships, to money and career, health and home environment. If you find it difficult to know which goals to work on, then it can help to talk to friends and family, and be open to any insight they have. You can have more than one goal, and you may find that they link together – if your working life improves, for example, then the financial, health and family areas of your life will inevitably improve too!

Be clear
The Law of Attraction requires you to be clear and specific about your goals. You wouldn’t get on a bus if you didn’t know where it was going, and the same should apply to your life! Always be very specific when you state your goals as the Universe will deliver back to you exactly what you affirm. For example, don’t say, ‘I am going to come into money’, as the Universe won’t interpret this clearly. It is possible to come into money through negative means, by having an accident and receiving compensation or through someone passing away. Whether you want to find your fortune through a lottery win or by starting your own business, be very clear.

Be present
Always use the present tense whenever you write down your goals and affirmations, as if they are a reality now. Even though they may not be a reality now, you are programming your mind to believe that they are, and this makes them much more powerful. Don’t put a limitation on your goals, as the higher you aim the more chance you will have of succeeding. There are no limits to the power of the Law of Attraction!

Do it with love
Always be sure that your goals are for the good of all concerned and coming from a place of love. Your intentions must always be good and honourable and help others as well as yourself.

Step by step
It’s important to not only visualise what you want, but to know the steps you need to take to get there. Creating a simple ladder of happiness will help you to set realistic goals and outline a step by step process to achieve them. It doesn’t matter how many steps the ladder has, just do what works for you.

Ladder of happiness exercise
Draw a ladder consisting of five steps and at the top of the ladder label your desired goal. For example, if your goal is to find a relationship, then at the top write something like ‘a beautiful, loving romantic relationship.’

Imagine that the bottom of the ladder is where you are now. What steps do you need to take to get to the top of the ladder and achieve your goal? Goals don’t always have to be external; they can be about making changes inside you too.

Hang the ladder where you will see it every day, like the bathroom mirror, next to your PC, or on your fridge. When you complete a step you may like to mark it with a gold star so that you can track, and feel good about, the progress you are making.

I suggest you always have a top five list of goals. Once you have achieved one of them replace it with a new one. Update and revise them regularly as your circumstances change. When you set Law of Attraction goals and take the necessary action to achieve them, you are telling the Universe that you are serious about your dreams and serious about making them a reality. It will listen to you.
