Beginner’s Guide to the Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction sounds complicated, but in fact is a very simple system of energy; cause and effect. The Law of Attraction states that the Universe delivers back to you exactly what you feel about yourself and the world in general. In other words, you create your own reality by the way you think and feel, and by what you say and do. This makes for a very powerful practice that can totally transform your life for the better. Let’s take a look at the process of the Law of Attraction.

Practice gratitude
The Law of Attraction first and foremost, is a positive system, and everything that you do when practising it must come from a place of love and kindness. Whilst there may be many areas of your life that you would like to improve, take some time to focus on all the things that you do have. It’s easy to get lost in negativity, but we all have many things to be grateful for and writing a list is a brilliant way for us to realise it. Stick the list onto the wall so that you can see it every day, and add to it regularly.

Goal setting
The next stage of the Law of Attraction is to decide upon one or more goals. You may be looking for a pay rise, a new job, to travel the world or for a loving relationship. Have fun creating a wish list. You may like to create a ‘dream board’ for each wish, cutting inspiring words and pictures from magazines and arranging them on a piece of card to help you to focus on your goals. Being creative in this way can really help you to connect with your imagination; a powerful tool in the Law of Attraction process.

Get positive
Select your main goal to begin, and begin to infuse it with positive feelings. Imagine it as a reality, and regularly project that goal out from within you. Use your imagination to experience how good it feels to achieve your goal, and see it benefitting others, as well as yourself. This positive process will soon begin to attract opportunities that will enable your goal to actually happen. Using this technique you can make your dreams a reality.

Increase your vibrational energy
If you say: ‘I feel good’ you are creating energy. If you affirm regularly that you feel good, your energy will build and you will find yourself in situations that make you feel good. Always think about your goal as if you have already achieved it, making it a full sensory experience. If your goal is to start your own business, see how it looks and feels to have achieved it already, and use statements as affirmations to make them more powerful.

‘I would love to run my own business’

with

‘I love the freedom of running my own business’.

The second statement is far more powerful, confident, and positive!

The key is to have a crystal clear intention and to energise this intention completely so that every cell and fibre in your mind and body is resonating with it. Then project it out to the Universe.

Stay focused
Spend at least five minutes every day, going over your goal. When you are in the shower, travelling somewhere, having lunch, in a queue or waiting around, spend five minutes recapping your goal. As you think about it, connect with feelings of happiness and joy as they become a reality in your mind.

To summarise, the key to the Law of Attraction is simple: whatever thoughts you think and feelings you feel will determine what you attract back into your life. With a crystal clear intention, from a place of love, peace and happiness, the Law of Attraction can help you achieve your dreams!
